Vessel
Safety Checks
- Vessel Safety Checks are a free service provided to
recreational boat owners where trained vessel examiners
will check your vessel for compliance with State and Federal
boating regulations. Results of the exams allow the boater
to correct any areas of non-compliance and are NEVER turned
over to any law enforcement agency.

Public
Education
- We offer classes dealing with the basic principles of
boating safety and seamanship.

Operations
- We participate in surface and air operations serving the
Eastern North Carolina area. Serving as Communications Watch
Standers we assist the Special Missions Training Center(SMTC)
and Coast Guard Station Swansboro in search and rescue
missions, SMTC training missions, vessel safety patrols,
marine pollution patrols and aids to navigation
verifications.

Awareness
- Through boat shows, public affair events,
marine
dealer displays and National Safe Boating Week we increase
the publics awareness of the importance of boating safety.
